This training method shows how to effectively integrate individual coaching into group sessions. Instead of trying to manage all players at once, the group is split into two parts: one group works directly with the coach on specific technical or coordination goals, while the other group performs structured cooperative drills with clear tasks.
This approach allows players to improve key areas such as forehand and backhand consistency, coordination, spacing to the ball, and overall control – without losing the flow and intensity of a group session.
The drill is ideal for groups of three or more players and is built as a progressive system with five variations, moving from simple to more complex. It works especially well on a red court setup (service boxes), combining individual attention with high activity levels.
