In tennis, you need to react to all strokes – except for the serve, which always starts the same way. I have to react after my split step and be able to change direction as quickly as possible to incoming balls. If I’m standing at the net, the reaction is even more important. The distance decreases here, and a good reaction can be decisive whether I win the point or not. Reaction training should therefore also be an important part of your training.
