The down the line shot is a powerful weapon in tennis – if you can master it. In tennis, it is mainly cross rallies that are created. And if I as a player manage to play a good and precise ball from this cross rally, I can put the opponent under extreme pressure. But this ball is also one of the riskiest balls, because the field over the down the line side is smaller and the net is higher. In this video, I show you 11 drills how you can practice the down the line ball effectively. The drills are designed for individual training, but can also be done in a group. The drills consist of the classic trainer feeding, but also cooperative game forms. Have fun practicing!
