This competitive drill combines baseline play with aggressive net attacks. Whenever a team wins a rally, it earns the opportunity to play for an additional bonus point. The waiting player moves forward, plays a controlled transition volley and then attempts to finish the point at the net. The drill develops the ability to move confidently from the baseline towards the net and encourages players to take advantage of attacking opportunities. Players improve their transition volleys, net play and decision-making while learning to finish points aggressively in match-like situations. The bonus point format creates a highly competitive environment and keeps players engaged throughout the exercise.
