In tennis training, serve practice often involves students taking balls from a ball basket and playing them haphazardly over the net. This type of serve training is not effective. It is important to set tasks and create a starting situation in which you have the best possible chance of playing a consistent and targeted serve. Mental drills can be helpful here. In this video, I present two great mental serving drills that you can implement immediately and that will help your students gain more confidence and self-assurance.
