Every tennis player knows this: a high ball comes onto the backhand. “How unpleasant!” This high ball is a popular tactical means of forcing your opponent to hit a short ball. The player has three options for dealing with a high ball on the backhand:

1. he can run backwards and run the ball out
2. he can stay on the line and play the ball above shoulder height
3. he can go towards the ball and play the ball on the rise

We want to train and automate all three variations in this video. We will then recreate the situation in the technique application training. Have fun practicing!
