The volley is an absolute repeat ball. I wasn’t a good volley player until I started training as a tennis coach. This was mainly due to the fact that the volley didn’t have such a high priority in my training. To this day, I don’t feel particularly comfortable at the net. So that your students don’t feel the same way as I did, I recommend that you incorporate the volley into your training sessions as often as possible. The volley should be practiced at different speeds and heights. Low volley, high volley, half volley, topspin volley – there are so many variations.
