Learning the correct technique is one of the key components of tennis training.
Tennis is a complex sport, and its movements are not easy to master. Every stroke has key elements that players and coaches should pay close attention to. Ideally, these elements are addressed and refined one after the other with effective time management.
A tennis stroke consists of several phases: preparation, backswing, contact, and follow-through. In this video, we aim to teach all of these phases using a progression-based approach — from simple to more advanced.
With this method, you can effectively convey professional-level technique within just 60 minutes. I’ve used this approach countless times during my time as a coach at Robinson Club Soma Bay in Egypt — and the results speak for themselves.
That’s why I want to share this method with you — whether you want to improve your own forehand or become more effective at teaching perfect technique as a coach.
This video series is divided into four parts:
Part 1: Preparation
Part 2: Contact Phase
Part 3: Follow-Through
Part 4: Application & Error Analysis
