The kick serve is one of the most important shots in modern tennis – especially as a reliable yet aggressive second serve. In this video, I present a proven and highly effective approach to teaching a dynamic kick serve with topspin. The core of this method is a clear progression from simple to complex. We start with very easy, controlled exercises that help the player understand and feel the correct movement pattern. Step by step, the exercises become more demanding until they lead naturally to a complete, dynamic kick serve.
This progression-based approach has already helped many players and work consistently and effectively in real training situations. Of course, the speed at which a player develops a “perfect” kick serve depends on their individual skill level. Some players achieve an excellent kick serve within 60 minutes, while others need more time. However, within one hour, this video clearly demonstrates how players can understand the required technique, learn the correct motion, and apply it successfully.
This video is ideal for coaches looking for a structured teaching concept as well as for ambitious players who want to improve the safety, spin, and effectiveness of their second serve.
